    Description

    Combur Test Strips are reliable diagnostic tools for detecting urinary tract infections (UTIs) and other health conditions through urinalysis.

    Key Parameters Tested:

    • Leukocytes: Indicates possible infection or inflammation.

    • Nitrite: Suggests the presence of bacteria.

    • pH: Evaluates urine acidity or alkalinity.

    • Protein: Detects signs of kidney issues or infection.

    • Glucose: Screens for diabetes.

    • Ketones: Identifies signs of fat metabolism issues.

    • Urobilinogen: Monitors liver function.

    • Bilirubin: Assesses bile pigment levels.

    • Blood: Detects blood in urine, a potential sign of infection or injury.

    Usage Directions:

    1. Collect a urine sample in a clean, sterile container.

    2. Dip the test strip into the urine for no more than 1 second.

    3. Wipe the side edge of the strip against the container rim to remove excess urine.

    4. Wait 60 seconds (or 60–120 seconds for leukocytes) and compare the reaction colors on the test patches to the label’s color scale.

    5. Disregard color changes occurring only at the edges or after more than 2 minutes.
